Your troop will have great fun painting, creating, & learning about ceramics at The Pigeon & The Hen Pottery! With programs for all levels of scouting, you are sure to find a program that excites your troop.
Daisy Petal Badge
Paint our unique ceramic daisy box.
Take a “backstage tour” of The Pigeon & The Hen which includes a store tour and the kiln.
All daisy boxes are glazed and fired and packaged for pickup by the troop leader within 2 weeks.
1 hour and 15 min of creative fun-time
8 scout minimum
$25 per scout plus 10% gratuity.
Pottery Wheel Badge
Learn the basics of the potter’s wheel with The Pigeon & The Hen Pottery. Each scout will get to experience the potter’s wheel with a Potterista. Get in the driver’s seat on the pedal basics, and bat, and make some magic with a small ball of clay. In addition, take a “backstage” tour of the studio and check out the glaze room, kiln, and much more.
$30 per scout plus 10% gratuity
Wheel project is 1 hour and 30 minutes of instruction with a minimum of 6 scouts and a max of 10. Pottery items made will be painted on the same day.
Pottery will be ready in 4 weeks and food and liquid safe.
